Shandong is a historic cradle of Chinese Martial Arts! In 2025, the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance against Japan, the city of Yantai hosts an important Wu Shu Cultural Festival. In addition to the competitions of Zhang Quan, Nan Quan, codified weapons and Sanda, the event will shine for a symposium of masters of the Tang Lang Quan style (Praying Mantis Boxing) and in the competitions there will be an Intangible Cultural Heritage award for this style rich in tradition Tang Lang Quan deserves the UNESCO nomination to protect its heritage. From July 31st to August 15th in Yantai, two intense weeks of competitions, meetings and martial culture.
