This brought victory to no one however, as the earth was rendered too uninhabitable and humanity was finally forced into an era of peace. No machine ever made could harm the magnum opus of war. No machine, except one. In the end, humanity had weathered the storm and entered into the age of prosperity with the "New Peace". Apocalypse had been averted and humanity vowed never to fall into such a catasthropic folly again. The Great Evil watched gleefully from beyond, biding its time. If only mankind knew the suffering that would befall them next…
