According to the "2015 New Year's Day Holiday Closure Notice" posted by the Office of Party Committee, the College will be closed for three days, from January 1 to 3, 2015 (Thursday to Saturday) inclusively. The office will be re-opened on January 4, 2015 (Sunday). To ensure safety of the students, all departments should advise the student of this holiday schedule and make the following arrangements:
1. Promote the "Guidelines on Student Travel Safety" to those intend to travel or visit friends and relatives during the holidays. Emphasis should be placed on safety during commuting, personal safety, health issues, etc. so that accidents or sickness can be avoided.
2. Provide instructions on security and order in and around the college premises to those students staying in the dorms during the holidays. Emphasis should be placed on personal safety and security of personal properties. Everyone should safeguard themselves against theft, fire, fraud and accidents. In addition, advise the students to avoid over-eating and drinking during the holidays.
3. Both campuses should prepare and submit a name list identifying the students intending to stay-in the dorms and to be out during the holidays.
4. Strictly enforce the "Homecoming Rules". If any student fails to return to school before the holidays end, please contact counselor timely.
5. Foster crisis and emergency risk communication of both campuses. Immediately report any accidents or incidents to the persons-on-duty.
